I love the opportunity to meet people at live events and I am lucky that I am asked to do a really wide range of events in different areas – corporate, environmental, social, political and, well, fun!

On 23 February I’ll be joining Rachel Allen and Natalie Svikla at the Mum Talks Cork event. I’m a little nervous about this one as I’ve never done this kind of event before, I’m used to doing media and corporate events and speaking to a professional audience but this is more personal than my usual speaking engagements. On 5 March I’ll be in Inchydoney Lodge & Spa for the Cork North and West Local Enterprise Office Enterprise Week event. There is a really exciting speaker lineup for this and it’s all about applying creative thinking to your business. I always love doing events in West Cork, so I can’t wait! Also that week, on International Women’s Day, 8 March I’m delighted to be marking International Women’s Day with the wonderful, dynamic group that is Network Ireland. On 30 March, I’m honoured to be appearing as part of SheIsSustainable Cork, a free volunteer led event focussing on women changing the world. I’ve been trying – slowly and unsurely – to minimise our household’s impact on the environment since 2017 when I tried to go plastic-free for a month. Having kids changes your shoe size dramatically when it comes to carbon footprint, and it’s made me much more aware of our environment, so I’ll be sharing my very humble efforts at the event.
