Facing your father's killers #listenback

Stephanie Hogan rang the Opinion Line today to talk about the desecration of her murdered father’s grave. Her father Packie was murdered a number of years ago in a feud in Blarney, a small town in which she now regularly runs into his killer’s family members in the shop. Michael Collins was convicted of Packie’s murder but is appealing his sentence.

It made me wonder whether there is any way of promoting reconciliation between the families of victims of crime and the perpetrators – or does it have to be a question of endless feuding?
