Thomas Kent

The 1916 preparations are heating up in Cork… a Sinn Féin Lord Mayor (currently on a twinning visit to San Francisco), and now the skull of Thomas Kent (subject to DNA testing) found at Cork Prison. It’ll be interesting to see how the family and official Ireland come to some arrangement as it’s widely believed the family want Kent’s remains buried at home in Castlelyons, while the local politicians would only love some kind of relic to be available in Cork to take some of the spotlight off Dublin.
