  Deirdre O'Shaughnessy

  Deirdre is the editor of the Cork Independent, Cork’s biggest free weekly newspaper, and a regular contributor to Newstalk’s Breakfast Show, Tonight with Vincent Browne on TV3, The Dave Fanning Show on 2fm and RTÉ Today.

  She previously worked for local newspapers in Limerick and Galway and has had features and news published in the Sunday Business Post, Women Mean Business magazine and all of Ireland’s national dailies.

  Other work

  Deirdre is available to host conferences, workshops, and panel discussions.

  She gives talks to community, business and networking groups about topics including making the most of the media, networking and online communications.

  She was named Network Cork Business Woman of the Year 2012 and the Cork Independent was Headline Regional Newspaper of the Year 2011.
